ClickFunnels Vs LeadPages
ClickFunnels vs LeadPages has been one of the BIGGEST battles of software tools.
But something happened over the years.
While both of the tools kept progressing…
One of them poured everything they had into their landing page and sales funnel builder.
And because of that?
They become the official champ when it comes to these page builders.
So who came out on top? Be sure to keep reading to find out.
ClickFunnels Vs LeadPages 2020
So in this post, first I’m going to cover some of the benefits of each tool.
I’ll be able to better compare and contrast what each has to offer…
Along with giving you my opinion on which tool is the best choice.
But if you’re more of a video person then you can watch in the video below:
- And you can click here to see who the winner is.
Let’s dive right on in with LeadPages first.
What Is LeadPages Anyway?
Aside from being a big competitor to ClickFunnels?
LeadPages allows you to turn clicks into customers.
Aside from doing that?
You can connect with an audience in order to:
- Collect leads and make sales all by…
- Building websites, landing pages, pop-ups, alert bars, and much more.
I put a great video down below that quickly talks about (and shows) LeadPages in action:
Aside from the quick video above?
Let’s get into a little more detail when it comes to what LeadPages can do for you.
LeadPages Site Builder
I must first say this:
LeadPages is SO much better when it comes to creating websites.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt…
And it’s for the simple fact that ClickFunnels doesn’t focus on building websites.
If you’re looking to build a website…
Then LeadPages can certainly help you do that quickly (thanks to many of their templates).
Here is an example of a few.
Here are a few more benefits when it comes to creating a website with LeadPages:
- It’s code-free (so you don’t have to be super techy).
- You can save a ton of time thanks to their pre-built web pages.
The only thing I am wary of is its possible SEO benefits.
- Can you get organic traffic from it?
- And if so would it even be close to as good as using WordPress?
These are things you will need to keep in mind when venturing outside of WordPress.
Note: I personally use WordPress for all of my websites.
Let’s move on to another solid LeadPages feature.
LeadPages Landing Pages
This is the bread and butter of LeadPages.
I’m sure you’re familiar with what you can do with landing pages…
But you might be familiar with some of the cool benefits that come along these.
- Built-in conversion guide (to help increase your conversions, obviously).
- You get an unlimited amount of lead collection and traffic (nice little perk).
- You can also publish as many landing pages as you want (another nice perk).
Here is a video where you can not only see these landing pages in action?\
But you can get one up and ready in under 10 minutes:
Pretty cool right?
I do have to say that while their landing pages aren’t all that bad…
A lot of their templates look pretty similar and the process of creating them could be easier.
That’s just my personal experience from using LeadPages, though.
Now let’s take a look at two more big features of this tool.
Alert Bars & Pop-Up Forms
I’ve personally never been a big fan of these types of features…
Although they can definitely be beneficial if you utilize them correctly.
What do they do exactly?
You can capture your audience’s attention with a mobile-friendly alert bar…
Allowing you to help send more clicks and of course increase conversions.
Here is yet another great video when it comes to showing you alert bars in action:
Fresh off the press!
So that’s what you can expect from LeadPages (and a bunch more as well).
If you’d like to get more information about them or even try them out for free?

Onto the other tool in this LeadPages vs ClickFunnels post.
What Is ClickFunnels All About?
Creating sales funnels that convert your visitors into leads and customers.
That’s their description in a nutshell…
And you can learn even more about them in the link below.

But for now?
Let’s focus on some of the great features of ClickFunnels
This should be pretty obvious (based upon their name)…
But ClickFunnels allows you to create any type of sales funnel that your heart desires.
They definitely have the leg up when you compare them to LeadFunnels in this aspect.
You can create:
- Lead funnels.
- Sales funnels.
- Presell funnels.
- Affiliate funnels.
- Webinar funnels.
- Coaching funnels.
- High-ticket funnels.
- Membership funnels.
And a bunch more (this is just naming a few).
I also must say that ClickFunnels drag-and-drop editor is one of the best out there.
So if you like simplicity when it comes to a landing page or funnel builder?
Then you’ll definitely like ClickFunnels.
Here is a great ClickFunnels examples video where you can get a good idea of the tool:
Not bad right?
Let’s move on to another great feature.
There are a few features when I refer to checkout pages too:
- Secure checkout pages.
- One-click upsell pages.
- One-click down-sell pages.
All of this helps when it comes to not only making more sales?
But it also helps to increase your conversions (I’ve personally tested it out myself).
Another great feature when it comes to checkout pages is the order bump.
This allows you to add another offer on your checkout page (it’s easy for customers to buy).
Check it out in action down below:
It’s the little things like this that make ClickFunnels a pretty solid sales funnel builder.
They also come with many more features along with:
So now that we’ve covered both of the software tools?
Let’s move onto the conclusion and see who the better choice is.
So now that you know some of the features that each tool comes with.
Let’s look at the strengths of each tool (when compared to each other):
- Great if you want to build a website.
- Better if you just want to create landing pages and collect leads.
- Costs slightly less (if you compare the pro version versus the basic CF plan).
And here’s a few for ClickFunnels:
- Lower learning curve (much simpler to use).
- Great if you want way more tools, features, and benefits.
- Better if you want an all-in-one platform for building your online business.
So at the end of the day who is the better pick?
After using both of these tools (and despite ClickFunnels being a little more)…
- They are overall easier to use.
- They come with way more features.
- Plus, I wouldn’t recommend building a website with either.
ClickFunnels has been rapidly growing and moving past other landing page builders…
And it’s easy to see they’ve put a LOT of money into improving their software.
So that’s my pick: ClickFunnels (and it’s not by a ton either).
LeadPages is still a solid pick but when compared to the almighty ClickFunnels?
I’d highly recommend ClickFunnels.
Or you can click the button down below to get taken to the same page.
That should do it.
Thanks again for stopping by to read this post about these two tools…
And regardless of which software you end up going with?
I truly hope that it helps you out significantly.
